BIPOLAR DISORDER
Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition that is characterized by alterations in mood and inability to function. Broadly speaking, people with the condition can have either manic or depressive episodes and they can alternate between the two. Episodes can persist for days or even weeks. In between episodes people can have normal periods.

These include a family history of bipolar disorder, depression, stressful life events, drug abuse and anxiety disorders.
